Driven by a passion for television, film, music and popular culture, Miléna is a freelance Executive Producer, based in Toronto. More recently, she held an EP role at Media.Monks (Toronto & LA), working in the live-action production department, on projects for numerous brands (incl. UPS, Home Depot, HP, Google, Shure, MassMutual); previously overseeing all live-action production for Mondelez brands (Triscuits, Halls, Ritz, Dentyne, Trident, to name a few) for the North America market. Before that, she worked as an Agency Producer at Leo Burnett, McCann, and freelanced at various other local agencies in Toronto.

With over fifteen years of development, television, content and broadcast experience, specializing in both non-traditional and traditional production processes, she has a strong understanding of current cultural trends and media platforms. With significant experience as an Agency Producer, (advertising) Story Producer, Field Producer/Director in multiple television genres, including documentaries, factual entertainment and lifestyle series, her credits include the award-winning series American Pickers (History Channel US), internationally recognized formats such as Come Dine With Me Canada (W Network) and Four Weddings Canada (SLICE), as well as Nothing Personal with Steve Schirippa (Investigation Discovery). Her career in television began in development for one of the largest independent production companies in Canada at the time, where she played a valuable role in establishing a new trend in antiquing/salvaging programs, which the company then continued to replicate successfully for years afterwards. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree from the University of Toronto, with a double-major in Art History & Italian Cultural Studies, and a minor in Film.  A sport enthusiast, and a former member of the Varsity Soccer team, she currently plays in various recreational co-ed sports leagues.
